How did you get into running?

I ran in high school and absolutely hated it. The truth is, the only reason I ran was to improve my resume for my college applications.

I started running again after college for the reason most people do…to lose weight. But something happened and I actually started loving running. Running quickly transformed from chore to something I truly looked forward to. Now I can’t imagine my life without it.

What inspired you to volunteer as a pacer?

The best thing about pacing for ARC (and ARC itself) is the people. I’ve met so many people on a level that I may not have known them if it wasn’t for pacing.

Greatest running achievement

To me my greatest achievement in running is never DNF’ing (Did Not Finish). I might not be the fastest guy on the planet but I’m definitely not a quitter.
